About Sacramentals
In the Catholic Church, sacramentals are sacred signs instituted by the Church that help prepare us to receive God’s grace and dispose us to cooperate with it. They are a beautiful part of Catholic spiritual life and have been used by the faithful for centuries to support prayer, devotion, and trust in God.

Common sacramentals include items such as crucifixes, medals, holy water, blessed salt, prayer cloths, and devotional objects. These items are not magical objects, but rather visible reminders of our faith that encourage prayer and reliance on God’s grace.

When blessed by a Catholic priest or deacon, sacramentals become part of the Church’s tradition of invoking God’s protection, blessing, and assistance in our daily lives. Many Catholics keep sacramentals in their homes, carry them with them, or use them during personal prayer.
Blessing of Devotional Items
Unless otherwise stated, the items available in our store are supplied unblessed. In keeping with Catholic tradition, sacramentals should be blessed by a Catholic priest or deacon before devotional use. Customers are encouraged to bring their items to their local parish to receive a blessing.

How to Have Items Blessed
In the Catholic tradition, devotional items such as crucifixes, medals, holy water bottles, and other sacramentals are often blessed by a priest or deacon before being used for prayer and devotion.
Purpose of Sacramentals
Sacramentals are meant to support and strengthen our spiritual life. They help us to deepen our prayer life, remember God’s presence in our daily lives, seek God’s protection and guidance, and grow in faith and trust in the Lord.

While sacramentals are powerful aids to devotion, they do not replace the Sacraments of the Church, such as the Eucharist or Reconciliation, which remain the primary channels of grace in the Christian life.
Handled with Care
All devotional items are prepared and packaged with reverence and respect for the sacred traditions of the Catholic faith.
