The Unity Prayer is a beautiful invitation to unite every part of our lives with Jesus. Recorded in the Spiritual Diary of Elizabeth Kindelmann, who received it from Jesus, it holds a special place in the Flame of Love of the Immaculate Heart of Mary devotion.
Through its simple yet profound words, we ask Jesus to draw our hearts, thoughts and actions into harmony with His. It invites us to walk with Him, work alongside Him, listen in the silence and pray with Him for the mercy of the Eternal Father. Its purpose is to deepen our union with Jesus, bringing His presence into the ordinary moments of each day.
In her diary, Elizabeth also records Jesus describing this prayer as a means of “blinding Satan”, weakening his influence so that souls may be protected from sin and drawn closer to God. At its heart is a call to love: to live more closely with Jesus and share in His desire for the salvation of souls.
